2018 Scholarship Recipient

Cavalier Senior, Austin Urlaub, son of Jeff and Michele Urlaub of Cavalier, has been selected as the 2018 Kelsey’s Courage Scholarship Recipient. Urlaub will graduate from Cavalier High School this spring and plans to attend Mayville State University in the fall to achieve his career goal of becoming a physical therapist.

Kelsey’s Courage Scholarship was initiated by the Misialek Family of Adams in memory of Kelsey Misialek who passed away from injuries sustained in an ATV accident in June of 2012. Due to Kelsey’s Interest in medicine the Misialek Family decided to award the annual scholarship of $500 to a North Dakota high school senior pursing a degree in the medical field.
